GigCarFinder is a marketplace that connects gig drivers looking to rent vehicles with independent owners and fleet operators who list them. We are not a party to any rental agreement: rentals, payments between drivers and owners, insurance, deposits and vehicle condition are arranged directly between the driver and the owner. We provide the listings, messaging, verification signals and reviews that help both sides decide.
You must be at least 18 and hold a valid driver’s licence to use GigCarFinder as a driver. Driver accounts require proof of gig work at signup, and our team reviews it before the verified badge is granted. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for everything done under your account. We may suspend or remove accounts that provide false information, abuse other users, or misuse the platform.
Owners are responsible for the accuracy of their listings — pricing, availability, vehicle condition, mileage policies and included services — and for holding the registrations, commercial insurance and local licences their rentals require. Verified-fleet badges reflect documents reviewed at a point in time and are not a guarantee.
Reviews may only be posted by verified drivers and must reflect genuine rental experiences. Owners may respond publicly. We may remove reviews that are fraudulent, abusive, or unrelated to a rental. Owners may display their GigCarFinder reviews on their own sites via our embed widgets, provided the content is shown unmodified and attributed.
Owner subscription plans are billed annually through Stripe. Plans renew automatically until cancelled; cancelling stops the next renewal and your plan remains active until the end of the paid period. Listing limits follow your plan tier.
No scraping, no misrepresenting your identity, no posting content you don’t have the right to post, no using the platform to spam or harass, and no attempts to circumvent verification or security controls.
The service is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties and are not liable for disputes, damages or losses arising from rentals arranged through the platform, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
